Working with BBhe & Weddings
Who is the inquiry specialist?
The inquiry specialist is your personal project manager assigned to walk you through the process and ensure that all your photography needs are answered and provided by our company. He/she will be the first one to answer your inquiry, suggest recommended options, to meet with you and your photographer and to process the delivery of your photos.
How do you decide on which photographer we use?
All of our photographers are trained according to each of the BBhe & Weddings brands and hold the same goals and vision. Nevertheless, as we offer a variety of styles for photography, each of our photographers offer their own strengths corresponding with each of our brands. When you inquire about a particular style that interests you, your inquiry specialist will match you with the photographer, photography portfolio and personality style that best meets your needs and wants.
Do you travel outside of Toronto?
Yes, we travel worldwide. For local weddings, there is a travel fee for any destination more than 50 kilometres from downtown Toronto.
What equipment do you use?
We use professional-grade equipment with high quality lenses.
Do you require a deposit?
We require a 30% deposit for all services and a signed contract to reserve your booking.
What if something happens to my photographer(s)/videographer(s)?
This is very unlikely to happen, but in the case of emergency another photographer and/or videographer with the same skillset will fill in.
Do you have insurance coverage?
Yes, we have commercial general liability insurance.
Do you have a physical office location?
Our team works together virtually. By reducing the overhead cost of office space, we’re able to make our pricing that much more affordable for our clients. To ensure the best experience, an inquiry specialist will be assigned to walk you through the whole process. We are also always able to meet up with you at a convenient physical location to discuss the process in person.
Choosing your Package
Can we choose more than one style for our wedding package?
Of course! You are welcome to choose different styles for your engagement and wedding.
How different is each style/brand?
Each brand has its own distinct shooting directives and editing. We have designed these brands specifically to ensure the best possible outcome for your photography session.
Do you shoot different cultural weddings?
We have covered many different types of cultural events in the past. Our years of experience and knowledge means we can optimally and sensitively shoot many different types of religious and/or cultural practices.
The Photography Session
How do we prepare before our engagement/editorial engagement/pre-wedding?
Your inquiry specialist will ask you about your interests and ideas for the event and will provide you with suggestions for the best outcome. He/she will also provide guidance and suggestions throughout the whole process, for example, on your attire, any props and recommended backdrops.
Do you provide any suggestions for locations?
Yes, your inquiry specialist can provide recommended locations to fit your interests and the styles you choose.
We’re not fully natural in front of the camera; will you direct us?
Our photographers direct each session to capture the best possible natural outcome. It’s our job as photographers to bring out the best in each setting, photoshoot and in you. We’re professionals at directing you to ensure the best possible photos.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Some of our best shots have been captured on rainy days! And we know a good amount of locations that work for all types of weather conditions.
The Video Session
What exactly are engagement videos?
Engagement videos are filmed to capture your unique story as a couple, from how you met and the early days of dating to the moment you knew it was forever. The video is put together like a music video; screening the video can be a great option for your wedding reception. Since we also capture photos on set during the filming of the video, you will have access to a second set of materials that can work great as your engagement pictures (another bonus – since these photos are more candid, they’re often more natural). We also include a movie poster in the video package, which we encourage you to use as your reception poster.
Can we add our own short clips to the wedding videos?
Yes, you can! At times, there might be a difference in quality between your video shorts and what we’ve filmed, but we’ll do our best to incorporate everything together seamlessly.
Can I request a modification on the video I receive?
Yes, of course! We provide up to three modifications.
How does the save the date video option work?
You will get a custom designed digital artwork and a short one-minute video, which you can send to family and friends ahead of your wedding.
Printing, Editing and Publishing
How long will it take to get my photographs/videos?
It takes approximately 7-10 weeks to get the finalized images and videos, but you’ll get a photo teaser within four days of your event.
Are all the photos edited?
For sure! Every single photo that you receive is edited.
How many photos do we get?
For a 12-hour wedding, you’ll get between 700-1,000 photos all edited, with hi-res (print) and web use (e.g., for social media) versions. For a two-hour engagement session, you’ll get 50-75 photos. For pre-weddings, you’ll get 100-130 photos. All photos are edited.
Do we get an online photo gallery?
Yes, every package includes a gallery to share with your family and friends. We first give you your personal login info, so that you can decide what photos can be publicly seen (or not) in your online gallery by your viewers. After that, all you need to do is share the link with your nearest and dearest!
If we want more copies printed, for instance of our magazine, album or customized poster, is that an option?
Yes! We’re happy to print however many additional copies you would like for an additional fee.
